I would give QtWebEngine a try. It is replacing QtWebKit for a reason. If you control the HTML that is getting rendered, then it probably doesn’t hurt to use QWebKit. Just make sure you test your pages beforehand. You need to install the webkitwidgets library. On Ubuntu, try this in a terminal: sudo apt-get install libqt5webkit5-dev On Fedora, the package has a different name, thus try: sudo apt-get install qt5-qtwebkit-devel Or on Fedora, via dnf: sudo dnf install qt5-qtwebkit-devel
