How to make child process die after parent exits?

Child can ask kernel to deliver SIGHUP (or other signal) when parent dies by specifying option PR_SET_PDEATHSIG in prctl() syscall like this:

prctl(PR_SET_PDEATHSIG, SIGHUP);
