Ant compile doesn’t copy the resources

There is no such parameter. You can copy all sorts of files between your directories with:

<copy todir="build">
    <fileset dir="src"
             includes="**/*.xml,**/*.properties,**/*.txt,**/*.ico" />
</copy>
