Write values in app.config file

Try the following code:

    Configuration config = ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(Application.ExecutablePath);
    config.AppSettings.Settings.Add("YourKey", "YourValue");
    config.Save(ConfigurationSaveMode.Minimal);

It worked for me 🙂
