You can also do a text dump by typing security cms -D -i <prov> FWIW security is to Administer Keychains, keys, certificates and the Security framework. cms is a command within the security framework it stands for Cryptographic Message Syntax -D is for decoding -i means infile use infile as source of data (default: stdin)
I experienced the same problem with one of my in-house apps. The reason was that bundle ID in application manifest was specified incorrectly. After I fixed bundle ID, the application installs normally.

The best way to do this in XCode 5 is using an iPhone Configuration Utility. It lets you manually delete duplicates of provisioning profiles with ease and speed. Try disconnecting / reconnecting the iPad, quit and restart XCode, … Sometimes it just won’t work and restarting everything solves it !
