sorting a vector of structs [duplicate]

Use a comparison function:

bool compareByLength(const data &a, const data &b)
{
    return a.word.size() < b.word.size();
}

and then use std::sort in the header #include <algorithm>:

std::sort(info.begin(), info.end(), compareByLength);
