MaxJsonLength exception in ASP.NET MVC during JavaScriptSerializer

It appears this has been fixed in MVC4.

You can do this, which worked well for me:

public ActionResult SomeControllerAction()
{
  var jsonResult = Json(veryLargeCollection, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet);
  jsonResult.MaxJsonLength = int.MaxValue;
  return jsonResult;
}
