LINQ to SQL and Null strings, how do I use Contains?

I’d use the null-coalescing operator…

(from a in this._addresses
where (a.Street ?? "").Contains(street) || (a.StreetAdditional ?? "").Contains(streetAdditional)
select a).ToList<Address>()
