Recently Selenium has launched Selenium 3 and if you are trying to use Firefox latest version then you have to use GeckoDriver:
System.setProperty("webdriver.gecko.driver","G:\\Selenium\\Firefox driver\\geckodriver.exe");
WebDriver driver = new FirefoxDriver();
