How to build a decorator with optional parameters? [duplicate]

I found an example, you can use @trace or @trace('msg1','msg2'): nice!

def trace(*args):
    def _trace(func):
        def wrapper(*args, **kwargs):

            func(*args, **kwargs)

        return wrapper
