Check the highlighted part is installed or not.. if it is installed you can find this under CPU.. Select it and click create avd
If the size of the emulator is too big. You can resize it by: Run > Run Configurations Pick the “Target” tab Scroll down to Additional Emulator Command Line Options and put in: -scale 0.8 or another number

I had the same issue after my computer locked up and I had to power cycle it. Wiping the user data didn’t fix my problem, I had to delete the following folders manually C:\Users\%UserName%\.android\avd\AVD2.1.avd\cache.img.lock C:\Users\%UserName%\.android\avd\AVD2.1.avd\userdata-qemu.img.lock

I had the same error before. Just open the package manager and delete/uninstall everything for Android M (API 22 MNC Preview). Marshmallow is already out anyway.
