Shift + Enter no longer adds a new line in Visual Studio

Go to Tools/Options/Environment/Keyboard.
Switch the “Use new shortcut in:” dropdown to “Text Editor”.
Pick the Edit.BreakLine command.
In the Press shortcut keys edit pane press Shift+Enter.
