Run single instance of an application using Mutex

I did it this way once, I hope it helps:

bool createdNew;

Mutex m = new Mutex(true, "myApp", out createdNew);

if (!createdNew)
{
    // myApp is already running...
    MessageBox.Show("myApp is already running!", "Multiple Instances");
    return;
}
