localhost blocked on Chrome with “Privacy Error”

Try this:

In Chrome, put in chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost in the address bar.

Enable the option that says “Allow invalid certificates for resources loaded from localhost”.

Restart Chrome, and it should allow the site.
