Get at number:

window.getComputedStyle( *Element* , null).getPropertyValue( *CSS* );

Example:

window.getComputedStyle( document.body ,null).getPropertyValue('background-color');  
window.getComputedStyle( document.body ,null).getPropertyValue('width');  
~ document.body.clientWidth
