how to get my UIWindow using UIApplication?

If your main window is an outlet of your AppDelegate (which should be the case), you may simply use

MyAppDelegate* myDelegate = (((MyAppDelegate*) [UIApplication sharedApplication].delegate));
[myDelegate.window ...]
