How to create a UITableViewCell with a transparent background

If both the other options didn’t work try this

UIView *backView = [[[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectZero] autorelease];
backView.backgroundColor = [UIColor clearColor];
cell.backgroundView = backView;
