You have to use implicitly unwrapped optionals so that Swift can cope with circular dependencies (parent <-> child of the UI components in this case) during the initialization phase.
@IBOutlet var imgBook: UIImageView!
@IBOutlet var titleBook: UILabel!
@IBOutlet var pageBook: UILabel!
