Asked the same thing today, and the answer was as simple as: Right click in the Output window when you’re running your program and uncheck all of the messages you don’t want to see (like Thread Exit messages). In your case, uncheck “Module Load messages”

I was fighting with this exact same error for over an hour and low and behold I restarted VS2008 and it magically fixed itself. Give it a try as it might save you some time.
I have observed that the undo option is being disabled when I press CTRL + ENTER accidentally, and I fixed this by removing this hotkey. To do this go to : Tools -> Option -> Environment -> Keyboard and remove Edit.LineOpenAbove shortcut.

When you shelve the changes, there is a checkbox towards the bottom “Preserve pending changes locally”. Uncheck that and it will undo the checkouts on the files as it builds the Shelf.
