adding multiple entries to a HashMap at once in one statement

You can use the Double Brace Initialization as shown below:

Map<String, Integer> hashMap = new HashMap<String, Integer>()
{{
     put("One", 1);
     put("Two", 2);
     put("Three", 3);
}};
