Opening database file from within SQLite command-line shell

You can attach one and even more databases and work with it in the same way like using sqlite dbname.db

sqlite3
:
sqlite> attach "mydb.sqlite" as db1;

and u can see all attached databases with
.databases

where in normal way the main is used for the command-line db

1    temp
